Ya'll are going to
hate me again because we don't have enough time to email!
Today we asked
president if we could wake up early to go to the most beautiful place in my
mission... he didn't say yes but he told us to make the decision for ourselves.
Sorella Friedbaum really wanted to go. I did, too. So we woke up today at 4:30,
got the train at 5 and headed to La Spezia (west coast) then took a bus to
Porto Venere. Look it up.
If it loads in time
there is a video attached. I was in heaven.
Seriously, I am in
the most beautiful place in the world.
Italia.
Do you all know where
I am?
And I speak Italian every
day. Yeah, it kind of blows my mind.
We had a great day.
It was a great week. I can't believe six of our friends our home from their
missions!
Well this week is
transfers news so don't send me any mail to my apartment address after today
(Wednesday) just in case. I am pretty sure I will stay here there. Do you think
I'm gonna train? We'll see what happens.
Sunday, was a proud
moment. One of our young women, Jasmin, she is 12 and was baptized two months
ago, came up and asked me to help her because she is having behavior issues,
saying bad words, has bad friends. Then she bore her testimony is branch
conference. She is amazing. I think she is my favorite person to work with
right now.
Also, this week we
got to go to an Italian doctor! I don't know if they are all like this, but
this one we went with our members because they are really sick. You go and wait
your turn and it's free, but it's first come first serve. Italia is like a 2nd
world country, with some of the people communists and the other half good,
decent people. Well, Andrenia had a blood sugar level of 400! And she had
bronchitis. And I ate her ice cream. And she keeps feeding us food. And everyone
in their house is sick! And, neither of us are sick... yet. But, we made
them a really yummy soup this week, and it turned out well. Success.
What else? We run for
trains almost every day because sorella has a hard time keeping track of time.
But she's great. We have had some fun times even if they are rough. We are
starting to finally get our people back to teach! Piano, piano.
Well dear family and
friends, I love you all. You are amazing. I am overly eagerly awaiting to see
this new baby that is already supposed to be here! But I will wait because what
else can I do?
We got Kebabs for
lunch and now we are going to go catch the three hour train home and nap. And I
will finally write some of you letters.
Love you ALL!!!
:)
P.S. What happened in
Paris? And the video is too big. I’ll see what I can do for next week.
Sorella Hastings =)
Love and Be Loved
